What is it?
A downwind slalom race between Kitesurfers, Windsurfers, Foilers and Sailors. The race will begin at Long Point Port Kennedy to the back of the Pond via various turning marks.
Race entry is available online only. Registrations will be on the beach at Long Point where a signing in sheet will be compulsory to race. Competitors must wear personal floation and carry 2 flares (orange or red) OR an epirb.
Kite category includes twin tips and surfboards.
Foiling category includes kites, windsurfs, wind wingers and foiling boats.
Boat category includes all dinghies and catamarans.
What’s your weapon of choice?
Entry is $40 or $30 for Club Members.

This is also the final event in WA Downwinder Series Battle of the Bays between Shark Bay and Safety Bay. The overall trophy and prize – sponsored by TBA – will be presented at this event.
