Refunds

Shark Bay Kitesurfing Terms & Conditions does not offer refunds. Unused lesson hours can be transferred to another person or used in the next season.

What happens if the lesson(s) get cancelled due to poor wind conditions?

In case your lesson(s) get cancelled due to poor wind conditions, you will need to reschedule at a later date.

What happens if I cancel the lesson?

You may change or cancel your lesson if you give us 24 hours or more of notice so we have enough time to find a replacement for you. You cannot make changes or cancel your lesson less than 24 hours before your lesson start.

Expiry date

All lessons and gift vouchers must be used within 1 years (12 months) from the initial date of purchase.

Acceptance

The ” Shark Bay Kitesurfing ” website is operated by Shark Bay Kitesurfing. Your use of the website is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers set out below (“Terms and Conditions”). You should read them now. Your use of the website constitutes your agreement to the Terms and Condition.

SBK reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice to you. Your continued use of the website after any amendment becomes effective constitutes an agreement by you to abide and be bound by the Terms and Conditions, as so amended.

Capacity

The services on the website are only available for sale to individuals who can make legally binding contracts.

Orders

Any order placed by you in the manner described in this website is an offer by you to purchase a particular service for the price specified in this website at the time you place your order on these Terms and Conditions. Shark Bay Kitesurfing reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including, without limitation, the unavailability of any services, an error in the price or the services description posted on this website, or an error in your order. Your contract with Shark Bay Kitesurfing only comes into existence when it forwards confirmation of receipt of your order and payment.

Prices

Prices of services displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but may change at any time and are subject to availability. All credit cards are charged in AUD Dollars and may be subject to bank fees.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift and lesson vouchers are valid twelve months from the date of purchase. Vouchers are transferable between all courses and can be given to a third party. Refunds are not possible under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of the recipient to book and complete the course or the gift within the twelve-month voucher period. Lost lesson and gift vouchers may be redeemed if proof of purchase can be shown. Shark bay Kitesurfing reserves the right to refuse a replacement.

HIRE OF EQUIPMENT KITESURFING

RENTAL POLICY

Kite surfing equipment will be rent from Shark bay Kite surfing Office under appointment only. The hirer will have to prove his Kitesurfing level either with an IKO or KA card or by doing 1 hour lesson test with Shark bay Kite surfing instructor at on of our teaching spots. The customer is responsible for returning the equipment back to the office on time. In the event that the equipment is returned late an extra charge will be incurred ($150 per Half day). If the customer is late for his booked equipment hire we cannot extend the time so please ensure being on time. Deposit: a copy of the ID card/Passport will be required as well as a copy of the credit card. Damage: please inspect your equipment prior to taking it out. We check it upon return and charge against your credit card for any dings or damage. The price of equipment lost or broken as following :

  • Board lost or broken: $ 900
  • Kite lost or broken: $1500
  • Bar lost or broken: $ 500
  • Harness lost or broken: $ 300
  • Pump lost or broken: $ 50

Payment Online via PayPal (credit card accepted)

Our School now accepts online payments via the PayPal payment system. PayPal is an account-based system that lets anyone with an email address securely send and receive online payments using their credit card or bank account. Its greatest advantage is that payments are made immediately – much quicker than sending bank transfers. PayPal allows you to make secure purchases without revealing your credit card number or financial information. Our Kitesurfing school will confirm your booking as soon as the funds have been cleared in our bank account

Risk and Title

Shark Bay Kitesurfing will retain title to the services you order until you have made payment in full for those services.

Limitation of liability

SBK will in no way be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from use or inability to use the website or for the cost of procurement of substitute services or resulting from any services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through the website or resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data or of any information contained on this website, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible, even if Shark Bay Kitesurfingvhas been advised of the possibility of such damages.
